Art on a Journey works is to provide a safe, welcoming and encouraging environment so that the unsheltered and housing insecure are nurtured to pursue their own artistic expression in ways that are affirming and “Spirit stirring.” Original artwork is for sale online.
o Does the image on the website accurately represent what I will be buying? We hope the images that are displayed have a high degree of accuracy and resolution of the artwork presented on the gallery website. Volunteers take pictures of the artists’ work and we are grateful for their efforts to present the images in the best ways they can.
o What percentage of my purchase goes to the artist? Artists receive 90% of the final price and sale of their artwork. 10% of art sales are donated by the artists to support Journey of Faith’s homeless ministry.
o Can I return the artwork I purchase?All sales are final.
o How do you ship the artwork?Artwork is shipped through our local post office or fulfillment supplier. You have the option of having the artwork you purchased shipped to you at cost or you can pick it up at the church.
o Do you ship internationally? No, we don’t ship internationally at this time.
o How many days will it take to arrive? We store some of items from the website onsite at our location. Other items may end up being shipped by a fulfillment company. The post office and a fulfillment company can take up to 3-5 days to ship the print or merchandise. You can contact the church office to check if a particular item has been stored at the church. If the artwork has been stored at the church, you can make arrangements to pick it up.
o Is my purchase tax deductible? No, you receive the artwork in exchange for your payment. During the checkout process you will have the opportunity to include a donation to Art on a Journey, which is tax deductible. Your donation helps to support the artists’ open art studio, the purchase of art supplies and the operation of the laundry and shower service.
