The Faith Story: God of Glory
We close our eyes anticipating that the spots we see will transform into visions of you. We fall asleep hoping that this time you will appear to us in a dream.
You are our creator and we have heard your promises of everlasting love and justice. We have heard you say that you have plans for us.
This morning, as we awaken to your glory, Holy God — teach your children, in your abundant grace, how to hope in what we cannot see and how to wait long after our meager stores of patience have run out.
With all creation, we will groan in eager longing as we do our best to follow you, Christ. Amen.
