The Beginning …
Art on a Journey Gallery opened in 2019 and is the visionary dream of Rose Marcum-Raugh. Rose is the Curator, as well as, an artist in the Gallery. Rose warmly invites all artists who have experienced homelessness or are at-risk of becoming homeless. Art on a Journey Gallery is a safe, supportive place where people can heal and express themselves and their faith without ridicule or shame.
… A Dream Grows
“Art on a Journey Gallery/Studio is an idea and dream that I have had for years finally become reality. It has grown more than I had originally envisioned or hoped it would.” With a special message to her artists, Rose said: “Just keep up with creating wonderful art. In whatever form you enjoy creating.”
